Content Development

Writers are the windows for others to see the amazing people, places and experiences that are in our world.

Creative writing surfaced for me at an early age. While I went to college with the goal of becoming a journalist, I realized that storytelling was at the heart of public relations and communications, so it was a perfect career choice. In my service to presidents, CEOs and Executive Directors, I have learned to capture a leader’s voice and present a compelling and memorable speech, blog or thought leadership article. I understand the value of bringing donor gifts to life through stories of impact and appreciate how a narrative can change the conversation and influence action.

I enjoy crafting a story from ideation to iteration. I’ve had the opportunity to interview some incredible people who have been pioneers, innovators and change makers. I’ve interviewed U.S. ambassadors, NASA engineers, military veterans, movie stars and leaders of General Electric, RE/MAX, Proctor & Gamble, UPS and CARMAX. But it’s the stories I’ve written of everyday heroes like the breast cancer survivor, the young adult who was homeless for three years, and the first-in-family college graduate that inspire me the most.
